This little guy is awesome. He was donated as part of a fundraiser this weekend. We're trying to raise some funds for our shows this summer, so Playlab NYC hosted a chili fundraiser / tony awards party. Our friend J won and this is the guy he picked.

I am going to give away my first sock monster that isn't part of the family. I've been invited to Riedel Dance Theater gala party to celebrate their 5th year. I've been working with Jonathan since 2004. The reason I enjoy this company so much is because they have these short Edward Gorey pieces that I just love. Jonathan really captures the spirit of the Gorey characters.

I made this little guy during the holidays, trying to figure out what to do with my son's footie socks. I think he makes a great Gorey-esque character. I hope Jonathan likes it and I'm not too goofy for bringing a present to a gala.
